Nice one Timbo, I did a comprehensive training course including presentations and councelling and found that the councelling helped no end when dealing with my two kids! Defo recommend it, not too fluffy bunnikins or tree huggin either.Timbo wrote:I have just got back from 2 days of training on presenting. To customers, management meetings and team meetings, that sort of thing.
Anyways, it was taught by an Actor chap called Michael Charlesworth, been on TV, you would know his face if you saw him.
My skills in this area are (or were) zilch. I would turn into a tongue tied cabbage once up in front of an audience. To those who know me, u know i am not a shy quiet person. I could deliver, but i would sound like a robot.
Over the 2 days he has captivated us and given even the biggest challenges (me) the skills to present and also to feel like i could stand up in Parliament and speak. What an absolutely amazing course. I have done 100s of courses over the years as i work in IT, almost all of them technical. This is the first course i have actually enjoyed and felt sorry it ended.
If you work in this line and present, i strongly recommend finding one of these course, it will pay your company dividends and also YOU.
I am buzzing and wanted to share
