Has any one had to track down a previous insurance company for there NCD?

just had my renewal notice and when I had a look I’ve only got 4 years on there so I rang to ask how come and was told that when I came to them I only had one years NCD I have to admit I haven’t checked each year to see if the NCD was right just took it was as the premiums were falling

I had to change to another company half way though one policy because of a change of use

Any way did a search for the insurance company I’d started out with no luck so I can’t get in touch with them to see if they can furnish the right NCD from when I was with them Westinghouse insurance brokers can’t remember the address or anything now its 5-6 years ago

So it looks like I’ve lost one year when I was with them and one when I had to change policy

If any 1 has managed to track down a company for this reason any pointers would be helpful

sorry cant help m8, my ncb is maxed out..£61 full comp year..wont get cheaper they reckon

Seeing as all insurance companies share their infomation on a common database it shouldn't be too difficult for them to check your record themselves. They would soon do it if you were making a claim.

Well tried it but it seems the company’s no longer trading and the info that Carole Nash has was taken of the renewal notice I’d sent in
Looks like im buggerd for the missing year as I’ve no proof
