Well did Rufforth as the orchestra thing was called off.

Thankfully managed a quick tour of the outside stalls before the rain really started. Didn't get chance to have a good old rummage though. There was a lot less stalls o/s than usual, weather forecast maybe? :o

By 'eck it belted down while we were in the barn - cleared the o/s stalls in about 1/2 an hour -

Mate picked up some new kickstart rubbers for his '67 BSA Thunderbolt - What's a kickstart? 8O I got me a nice hydraulic cable oiler - cheaper than e-blag. Nearly got a compressor as well but just couldn't make my mind up which one - Doh!

Weather fined up as we left  Typical - went over Saddleworth this avo, to, as far as I know, the only British / Classic bike shop there is left in North of England!!!! The sunshine was un believable after this mornings deluge. Rang Wor Lass at dog display over Wakey way twas thunder & lightning and rain like stair rods

Some nice bikes at Saddleworth and reasonably priced too. Shame the Panther 100 had gone!!! :( :( Still few BSAs, Triumphs, Nortons & a nice Matchless.

Oh well, see what weather we get Sunday :)

I had a ride to Devon on Friday, did'nt rain that much until i got to micheal wood service's. After filling up i parked to put on rainsuit from tankbag 8O
bumock's left on kitchen table  still did'nt get to wet.
I had a ride to Exeter on Saturday to get another suit at a shop called Speed, if you look on the tinternet they have discount voucher's 10% off 8) On Sunday when sober getting ready for the return journey the cloud's were gathering so on went the suit,
The only rain with a chance of getting me soaked was at Ripley 4 mile's from home :?
My first good ride since the accident and loved every minute of it.
500 mile's still make's my butt ache, need to get some more time in the saddle so i can make it to Misano for the Moto GP without bursting into tear's. Anyone fancy a trip to Italy :?:

It's back with a vengence now!!!

Woman who delivers local free paper reckons it's due to drop a months worth of rain in a day!!!!

The way it's coming down ATM I can believe it too!

Car for work tomorrow then :x

Look out Sheffield & Toll Bar 8O

Still, should just be able to hook up temp homes and tow them to high ground!

If it reaches bottom of my road, I'm building a feckin ARK - or better still, go nick a RIB from dive club up t' road!!!

Rain in the SE is dreadful. Unreal amount.
Probably due to me about to do a weeks touring on the VTR in the SW. Lidls rain suit might get a good workout. It was not expensive, but one of the best I have ever used. Hope not to have to prove its worth though!!!!!

Funny that,

I was only thinking the other day that LSM hadn't posted a Lidl, Aldi or Netto weekly bargains link for a while!

Well it wasn't raining when I got up, but looked terribly like i was going to, lots of very dark clouds! So decided to go to work in the car - got to work, about 7 miles away, bloody sun was crackin' t' flags! 8O 8O

Been a bit overcast from time to time through the day, got home now and it's bright, very warm and bloody sunny!!

Oh well
