Yep mine went up with Bennetts this year at renewal time, just a bit of advice with them if you go to their website and get a quote with all your details, I bet it's cheaper than the renewal they sent you, then just take that out

Bet Bennetts will beat the competition now you have bothered to search, winds me up , why dont they just send out a competitive renewal quote in the first place?

Actually beamish, I rang them soon after and they were gob smacked at how much cheaper I had got it. They couldn,t compete with it. What made me mad was that they actually were just going to renew the policy without asking me before hand.
Cheeky beggers .
Yeah well it will be cheap for you lee , this being due to yh old age .

There was alot of stuff on MCN etc a while back about how they re-new your policy whith out asking and then charge for you to cancel it,
My younger brother had a few run in's with the law and had his insurance cancled on him by bennits because of his points etc, They flat out refused to reinsure him, last week he got his renewal letter in the post from bennits

BLOODT Well started aint it. Calls and sodding emails begging for my custome ffs.
If they were that interested in my business then why didnt they drop there prices in the first place.
Ebike who wanted 255 without recovery just called and beat the lowest so far by a tenner. Harrrr catch is they wanted me to take it out today as it,s a special price. 255 without recovery and now 155 with , big difference dont yh think . No thanks, I need to see hard copy of paper work before deciding. He wasnt so keen then.
Just goes to show u how people are ripped of for insurance then dont it.

Try
http://www.thebikeinsurer.co.uk - got me bloody good prices. Around half of everyone else. I'm paying 320 TPFT, but thats being 23, passing test same day when taking out policy, no ncb for bike or car, a 4 point sp30 in 2003 and a 5k fault claim / accident in 2004.
Not bad really.

If any ones interested, I used the Tesco Motorbike insurance finder . Lists over hundreds of companys and brokers under one roof.
If I wanted TPFT It would have only cost me around 78 quid with no excess.

Hey Thats good news to heart that some one else is saving money.
Get this, bennetts sent renewal for bike on 25th July for 268.04. I called them and informed them that I wont be going with them again as it,s increased and I have found one a lot cheaper...
.....Now the news is , arriving home today I had a letter from bennetts again. This time informing me of me pending renewal date for the bike
However this tme my renewal cost had rissen to..... 320.93
Now hows that for inflation then
