but i regretable have to sell the poor girl in the distant future  as i had a small....ish off then put all my blood sweat money and swearing into getting her back on the road then 1st day i got her back on the road and took her to central london to my fiance's place some kind person tried to tea leaf her and left me with a wrecked ignition barrel so i cant use for central london as i already had 1 ktm nicked from there earlyer in the year.

so i'm lookin to get a 01 > firestorm :D as it cheaper to insure when i move and i fancy a change from supermoto's and it shouldn't bore the pants off me like an sv would of.

all i need to know about the storm is what it like for pillions really and where the best place for parts. then i just need to test ride one and bobs ur uncle hopfully at the end of august i should be a firestorm owner.

Welcome Matt.

I got to use one of those KTM 950's when my old storm was in for a service last year. I have to say it was really dull! 8O

I couldn't wait to get back on my really ropey old storm. I mean the things ten years older and the equipment is nowhere near as new and shiny - but I missed the growl and raw push.

I think you'll enjoy it V much and make sure you get some nice pipes on it to fully enjoy the sound!

Good luck!

it isn't the fiance tellin me to get rid of it, it's me i would only be able to use the ktm once a week but i can use the storm everyday :D plus the ktm insurance wil be goin up to just under £1000 while the storm will be under £600.

i love the ktm it's an awsome thing to ride but then i'm use to supemoto's ridden them all the time had a hornet between supermoto's and hated it so went back to what i know.

but my opinion will prob change when i throw my leg over a storm and let it grow with a huge set of race pipes i like my bikes loud :D :D

colour doesn't bother me that much it can be changed but whould prefer a black one though.

Hi Matt, welcome aboard :!: :D

As you said test ride a Storm first, then decide :!:
Can't help you with your pillion question as I never carry one.

I do like the look of the KTM though 8)
