Bad eBay sellers - I'm absolutely FURIOUS.

I just got stiffed by a bloke on eBay - I THINK he is/was a forum member (just traded his Storm for a GSXR600?) Bought his Ixil silencers for a steal only to be sent an email an hour later saying 'sorry, I was selling them for my brother and they've been sold already'.

NO CHANCE!

I won them for a steal - they were listed badly and went for £117. I don't like to speculate but watch ebay - a pint says they'll be relisted soon, with a higher start/reserve. I REALLY hate this s*&t - i changed my plans to stay in and bid on them - i could have been out doing something with my day. I've only ever left neg feedback once or twice. This moron got the best I could squeeze into one line. Blazing, i am!

Cheers Steve, let me know won't you!

Thanks for the heads up Warby, made me feel a bit less annoyed. I wouldn't mind if they'd been pulled *if* they'd been sold elsewhere - i'm off on my stag do tomorrow morning but had my mates round today - didn't go down the pub and kept them downstairs while I was upstairs fleabaying!

You still have the option of leaving bad feedback for the guy just put he pulled out of the deal and it was for a set of pipes

And he can’t put bad feedback on for you now

I have done - I VERY rarely leave bad feedback, even if things are late or not entirely as described. This git got the best I could leave with one line feedback. Like I said, it's not the actual loss of the item, it's the wasted day and total lack of consideration shown from him.

I also noticed he's changed his eBay username - this could be an indication of past issues?

i really wouldnt worry, i agree with warby, over £100 was NOT a steal in my opinion. Kaz sold me her ART cans for £120 (or around that) and they beat the ix's every time! Personal preference but i think you escaped quite well on this one dude!

The microns on offer sound like a good bet to me, havent heard a bad micron in years!

yeah i got a replacement shock for 99p plus postage and the post office mysteriously lost it.

I accepted the refund and sure enough the thing appeared back on a week later. I had a choice word with the guy who told me to shove it. (right where the sun don't shine) 8O

Cos I accepted a refund I coulden't leave feedback and I just put a warning out to ebay about a his unfair activity. I'm sure they did sweet FA

Hardly an auction - more of a price fixing scam that site...

Top tips always pay pal, I have just had thirty quid refunded for a polishing kit that never materialized. Yeh there are some dodgy basts but there are loads of honest people on there as well.

Ive bought over 100 items from Ebay without a problem, everything from a mouse-mat to a motorbike :!:
Infact eyeing up a couple of "curry kits " right now ! mmmm
Have heard of a few mates having problems on it though :!:
