Been away, tough decision to be made

Hi all, have been away for a couple of months with work but back now, briefly. Looks like i am going back to my second desert home for another 6 month holiday so am going to sell my Gixxer.

There are other reasons: I am very lucky to be alive after 18 months of owning the fastest bike in the world. Gemany affords a certian amount of space to ride it properly but i reckon by the time i get back from my "holiday" i will be going back to the UK. This means speed cameraa central and i can't really enjoy a bike like that on UK roads.

So, cutting to the chase, i am going to get another SP1/2 when i get back! Have started looking already, in case a bargain appears!

Anyways hope you are all well, lots of new faces - welcome - and i will be back in soon.

Mark

Hi Mark,

Thought you'd been a bit quiet of late - hope the family are all well.

Shame to sell her but can understand your reasons. Had a play on my mates' '05 thou on IOM other year, although IL4's are not my thing, I was grinning from ear to ear when I got back :D

Got wor lass's SRAD 600 running now, feck me does it accelerate! :D just got to remember there's feck all engine braking :?
Dropped it down 4 from 100 other day and still didn't want to slow down (if I'd have done that on the Storm, I'd have been peeling my face off the asphalt!), could've fried an egg on the discs 8O

Hope your 'holiday in the sun' is an uneventful one

Look forward to your SP1/2 reports

Stay safe pal.

Good luck in the sand my friend, hope you make the right decision but I cant see how an SP1/2 would help you keep your licence. A super duke or Tuono yes but not an SP1/2

They are both a bit too expensive to be honest, and i have never been into naked bikes. I know the SP very well and love the handling and the noise. It is fast enough for me but slow enough for UK roads!
