Do what you ask?
Go a bit faster than thirty mph etc?

No!

I'm in the company car sitting at a set of red traffic lights in the left lane about three vehicles back. We've been stopped about twenty seconds. The right lane alongside us is for turning right. One car comes down to it indicating right and what makes me look is the sound of an IL4 (Gixxer as it happens) being caned by a guy in jeans and a light weight jacket and coming down very fast behind it. He then jinks to the left of the car with the lights still red (approx 25 seconds now ish). He then just takes off across the junction (which is under a railway bridge) slows a bit to hammer the poor bike off the rev limiter, then flies off up the road. People looking of course.
Then about ten seconds later the lights go in our favour and off we go.
What a fcukin' prat!!!
I shouldn't say this, but I hope he ends up dead on his own without taking anyone else along for the ride!!!!!!!

You’ll probably find its one of the many unlicensed, uninsured, untaxed nob’s you get more and more of these days
Any one with a licence knows how hard it is to get their licence and tend to do their Richard around out of sight so as not to loss it.
For there’s git’s it don’t matter as they just ignore any ban or sentence handed down by a court as they never had a licence to start with
Plus the powers that be seem to think that the grate evil is speeding and all road crime can be detected by camera now and not by plod on the ground
Cameras only catch mostly honest people who have their vehicles registered to themselves
Last estimat was that one in ten people are not insured propely
I agree with timbo on this one castrate the bast*** to stop them diluting the gean pool any further

Once again I read a thread and become slightly nervous.

You know with all them terror laws they'll banging our doors down with posts like that.

Moronic road use is even more annoying when its a biker cause most people think were bloody nutters as it is.

We get the worst kind of a**holes here for TT and its just makes you think - "oh there goes another nail in the TT coffin". Its a mecca for the biggest loons as well as bikers who just want to enjoy a little speed and go home and see their kids at the end of the week.

Maybe we should all ride around with shotguns - a la mad max and improve the image of biking. Oh and armour piercing rounds for taxis and merc drivers. Oh and 4x4 drivers (clean ones of course). OOh the list goes on.

Around Boston area there are a lot of immigrants and I have seen many an r1/GSXR/Blade on Polish plates ridden by a jean/t shirt wearing youth. Not preaching about clothing but I wouldnt want to deal with an insurance claim if involved in an accident with him.

thats the problem with being a fascist dictator. Some of you will become victims of my less subtle policies 8O

Timbo, Lotusman I can only apologies now. You will have a short amnesty time before I take control of the country to buy "normal" cars and your lives will be spared.

Oh B*lls - wrong forum. Thought I was on dictator.co.uk.

Got to agree with Adfski on this one... one of my MAJOR hates are 4x4 drivers who clearly have absolutely no need whatsoever to own a tank. Most seem oblivious to other road users - must be a knock on effect of being higher up (therefore superior) and behind 2" plating (therefore safe and immune to the consequences of their poor driving). The biggest offenders are the prats driving round in Range Rover 'Sports'. WTF??? What possible purpose can they serve! Status? Respect? Nah, they're clearly making up for deficiencies elsewhere!

I was discussing this the other day - the best solution we could come up with was that in order to own a 4x4 you should have to have a legitimate need to do so AND take a special, more stringent test, with annual reviews of the need to own one.

If you want to own a firearm, you need to be a club member before you'll be granted a license. If you don't attend the club, your license is revoked, as you no longer have a legitimate need to own a firearm. Simple. I know the comparison is FAR from the same, but they ARE a menace on the road, serve absolutely NO purpose (apart from the minority who do go off roading - and i'm all for that) and SHOULD be regulated.

Thus endeth the rant....
Perseverance takes too long....

Hmmmm...interesting view :!:
Thing is ,some of the smaller ones, ie Toyota rav4, Honda cr-v, and Nissan x-trail , Land Rover Freelander have prob got a shorter wheelbase than your average family saloon .

4X4 isnt the issue surely, all Subarus, most Audis some Fiat Pandas 8O . I dont have a beef with them really, in fact if i had a wallet that was continually holding £1000 I would have a normal Range Rover (not Sport) parked next to the Aston and a 911 next to a very long row of Bikes 8) . 2 kids and two dogs means the Range Rover would be perfect. Anyhoo I am skint so have a C1 Citroen and a Diesel Mondeo. Its not the vehicle its the pric* behind the wheel. Just MO counts for **ck all.

But certain types of car do seem to attract a certain type of person, do they not?

Dunno why i am saying that as i chose my mercedes. But i would say, and most who know me would agree, i am not your typical mercedes driver. That is evident in the dealers when they look down their noses at me
Nice one Timbo - I think it could be revised to people who fit in at a merc dealership and any sports 4x4 with low profiles. Thats a c*nts car?

So a merc 4x4 with low profiles, a massive guzzling engine with no sign of mud and dropping kids off at school - whilst blocking the entire road and sneering at us irresponsible bikers. Thats evil incarnate that is

Tim - I reckon to top it off you should get a "my other car is a kawasaki" sticker made up. Defo not second chioce for the stereotype of a merc driver.
