Best o luck mate, i know the hassle i had, some wouldnt insure me cos of my belly-pan,others cos of the braided hoses, no consistency whatsoever.
Going slightly off the subject,it happens everywhere,i remember i needed a parcel sending ,tried DHL,but they were to expensive, I got a great price with Parcel2go.com, much cheaper ,so i used them.
When the van arrived to pick up the box it was DHL
I think their prices are closer matched now though.

Could have been a Freudian slip... you had just mentioned 'Bennetts'! She probably lost her McJob as soon as you hung up.......

Under "bike chat" there is a "sticky" about insurance ,i spent ages trying to get a good deal , comparing excesses etc.
For me
http://www.aquote.co.uk/aq.asp was the winner by far
