Post by Beamish »

Slowly getting my short list down, still a few possibles and I know the prices vary massively but I dont care I will have some cash available when the time is right. What would be your choice?

Seriously think it will be the 848, about £9K OTR, first service £60 then mileage dependable unlike the earlier Dukes.

RSVR Factory all the way dude! :D :D :D :D :D

They're jaw dropping Italian exotica with Japanese reliability and without the Ducati servicing costs. A winner all round, followed very quickly by the Tuono....

Interesting, it seems like a split decision between the RSV and the 848. To be honest I think I will be more than happy with whichever bike I chose but I really need that 848 8O 8O 8O 8O I have totally fallen for it. The intelligent would chose the RSV as it is cheaper to buy and run. The Honda nut would have to go with the SP even though to be honest it is old hat in this company (not writing it off though as I still love em and it would do me grand) Then there is the sit up bikes. I ride for fun. I dont do Ewan Mcgregor trips and I do not club race at the weekend so a powerful upright short wheelbase loony bike would be excellent.

So as you can see I dont have a clue but I do have the 848 as my PC background 8)

Simple answer, no brainer, SP-2

Reason?

Honda reliability over anything Italian 8O

Ridiculous servicing costs of Ducs :(

If it was my money I'd have to pick the RSVRf

By far the best bike of the choices.

The Ducati's pretty but its only a Sunday blast toy IMO.
