Hello all

Just signed up to the org in the last few days. I'm not an owner yet, but I'm currently seeking a black firestorm, and hope to have on in my possession ASAP.

Black no doubt being the best colour, and probably the fastest too. Although on the GSx1400 forum (one of my other bikes) I've always sat in the camp that says "Blacks not a colour".

My other bikes are a customised GSX 1400 and a vintage bobber built from a 70's honda 550/4.

So I was hoping the Firestorm would make a good daily ride, and not turn into another project (fat chance!).

Anyone else on here from around London/Kent? I'm in Bromley.

The Firestorm does indeed make a great daily ride... & then some! I use mine all year round for commuting, touring (solo & two-up) & numerous trackdays too!

Welcome mate, Black Storm should do you proud as a daily hack + smiles. I am from The peoples front of Judea (a splitter!) no longer own a Storm but hang around all the same.

Spliter .......Is that a fancy term yhs use on here to indicate yhs swing both ways timbo.

Well.... didn't take long.

Black 97' Firestorm secured. I pick her up Friday. Promised myself that it would just be a winter hack.... now I'm already planning all the work and restoration I want to do. Oh dear, here we go again. I just can't ride a tatty bike!

Don't listen to that Timbo (also known as Bignose) he's so bl##dy fickle gone from Black the fastest to Blue the campest, polishes his helmet in his spare time and loves naked bikes ughhh.
