Risers - anyone using these?

Post by yellowstorm »

Has anyone used these risers with any success?

I take it the they would need a fairing mod and xtended brake/clutch lines.

But seems ideal the no yoke drilling involved.

Ask Tony Wilde as I have a feeling they won't work on the Firestorm :!:

You'd also have to make sure with the risers sittin on the top yoke, that the bars would clear the tops of the forks :!:
Would poss be ok,but best get sizes 1st

so thats why i drilled holes and fitted bolt on risers in the end...to my previous vtr.hope this helps. :)

Thanks for that, I think I'll give them a miss and go for drilling the yoke.

There are a couple on ebay too.....

I have considered adding these to my bike, commuting is a bit harsh on the wrists - 'tank thigh huggin' has helped a lot tho.

I have the same as shown by bvghead.
These are made by GB MOTO.
Nice product by the way
They are far better than nowt but aren't gonna get you into a sit-up-and-beg riding position for sure.
