What chain length?

Post by jonesy »

Hi all, am about to fit new chain and sprockets, going up to 43 on the rear, and my question is this: if standard chain is 102 links, what length do i need to trim new chain to? (it's a 110 link 530)
Thankyou kindly, Chris.

If you are still standard on the front you can go up two teath on the rear and still run a std chain.
It moves the wheel right to the front of the adjuster but that only helps with the wheelies and tight turning right

I dropped one tooth on the front, makes a noticeable difference, but speedo is miles out. Funny really, as its's in KPH! :D
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
