Tim,
mine's due on the 16th, got renewal in and its jumped Â£100 to nearly Â£300

I went on to http://www.pricerunner.co.uk/ (put home ins. in search box), i managed to get it down to Â£140 for exact same cover and excesses

Will also try Confused and Go-compare .

Cars due on 31st,so will do the same

also try moneysupermarket.com, i have used gocompare and confused and yesterday found this other one to be generally cheaper for my car insurance.

Result Timbo!!

I just renewed ours last week, was paying Â£21pm - Renewal came back for Â£27.
Rang and told Churchill I was moving due to better internet quote and guess what...
Got them back down to Â£ 16 pm so I have the bulk of my Storm Insurance premium covered now.

I think most of them rely on peoples apathy and sting them as a result.
