Anyone got a helmet/bullet cam? Or does anyone know anything about them apart from some being very expensive - have been looking at the Oregon ATC3K
Thanks

I have an Oregon ATC2000. About £80. Have had one trial run on the TDM but it was pointing through the dark screen so not a great success, but it worked fine.
I am going to make a bracket to fit it to the left hand mirror on the Storm so it doesn't have to point through the screen. Will post a video of results when I have got round to it.

Lotusman would be good hear what your views are.
Timbo I looked at the Archos and a few others in that price range but sadly can't really stretch to that, very nice bit of kit tho

Hi Mark
Well.........£250 ish would be pushing it a bit what with the credit crunch and xmas around the corner, was thinking £150 max. I know £100 ain't much but........if I'd be wasting my money then I'd rather wait a bit and save a bit more.
Thanks

Works the same way as a "muff " ....you used to be able to buy them for camcorder mic's,to cut down wind noise

I have two ATC2K's. They are great value for money.
You can see the bracket on the rhs top fairing in the pic. Gives good views with the 'film' from here and easy to angle for correct positioning.
The secret to getting good results is to use a very high speed 2gb card (SanDisk). I also have a piece of pvc tape of the mike intake area to baffle wind noise.

Been using one of the oregon ATC2K bullet cams myself when off-roading - works pretty well considering the cost and basic nature of the camera. Get an hour of footage on a 2gb SD card.

Beebug52.
I need to get the bike out to photo it close-up if you still can't see where the mount is just behind the VTR logo on the fairing in that pic.
