bees

just watching autumnwatch, and there is a thing about bees on, and they just said that if bees disappear totaly then humans will only last for 4 more years as the bees are that important to the pollonation process, i didnt realise how important bees were and it shocked me, sorry this is a rant but made me want to tell you

Is that before or after we've all died from bird flu? Or global warming?
We are obsessed with gloom and doom in this country.
Do like bees though and I'm sure it is a problem

I shall continue to squish them before they sting me.
I might die in four years, but at least it won't be from some schmucky bee stinging me!
(...but I do really like the native bees here. Very cute & a therapeutic-sounding buzz, not just out to stick me & close the ol' airway thing. They can keep on pollenating all they like as far as I'm concerned.)
