Blueflame let me down!

I bought a high level Blueflame system 2 years ago. Six months later I had a spill and damaged one of the link pipes, nothing serious, just deep scuffs.

About a year later the can cracked where the pipe entered - I'm pretty sure this had nothing to do with the spill as I stripped it all down after the spill and rebuilt it and there was no stress or aligment issues.

Fair enough, it had a knock and I was willing to accept this may have been the cause, so I called Bf to order a new can and link pipe. They took my order (and my money) but said they no longer made the high level pipes, but would see if they could get one made.

Several weeks later I phoned to see what was happening. They admitted they could no longer make the high level pipe so had cancelled the order (somehow forgetting to give me my money back!)

They did, after some argument, agree to supply low level link pipes free of charge - but I can't believe they cannot supply spares for a product that is only 2 years old! Plus I don't like the low level look - I only bought Bf cos the high level cans look great.

The Bf cans are fantastic, but there is no way I will ever use them again - why oh why is customer service in this country so poor? Maybe because we allow them to get away with it?

Shame really as Blue flame were building a good rep it seemed to me. They did offer low levels free off charge though , thats pretty good.

take the low levels for free, sell em and put the money towards avin some high levels made up :wink: :D
