Well, as some of you willknow i had a few problems with my Gixxer thou, and now that i am back from Iraq it has gone to the bike heaven in the sky. Didn't crash it but sold it back to Taz for a little over £5k. Not a great deal i know but the handling was so off the mark because of the vibration that i could hard ride it any more. The trip back to the UK on it was quite painful, even if i managed from Gutersloh to Peterborough in 6 1/2 hours! (Apparently Belgium, France and the Netherlands have speed limits)

(not at 4 in the morning they don't!).
So i am on the hunt for a new machine. Maybe looking at a TL1000r or another SP1. The only thing putting me of the SP is that i have already had one before, and the mental Zook looks quite cool, in an ugly kind of way.
What do you reckon?

Go for the TLR and try something different
Dont think it'll compare to an SP on the handling stakes though, great motor all the same!

Nice idea! All i need to do now is find someone to sub me the other £10000 to add to what i have got to spend!!!!!!!!
I was never comfortable riding around on a 7 grand bike insured TPFT only! To insure it fully comp in Germany worked out at 9000 euros a year

Something to do with the chances of me stacking it being quite high!

Hi Mark,
Welcome back to good ol' Blighty! Glad you had a safe and swift return journey.
Might not be what you're looking for, but I'm pretty sure this TL1000 is still there as his reserve wasn't met in 2 times of asking.
Give him a try - at least it'd put you on.
TL1000 Clicky
Graeme.

That 'orrible Street fighter eBay bike (IMHO).
Advert says:-
I forgot to add as well the bike has a tool kit under the seat which i have never used
Says a lot for the maintainance then eh?
Buy a 916 then?
