Hi all, thought I'd drop in for a little update on our French adventure (see Bonjour, posted 1st October).

All still going well in France, though Autumn has definitely arrived - well we do live at 850 metres (2700 feet). Around the end of September through October the colours on the trees here were amazing - I may post some pics on Flickr.

Life is prettey quiet, just eating, drinking, walking, biking etc etc - we're turning into a right pair of yokels. My main activity been preparing for the winter by heading into the woods with my new CHAINSAW - ha ha ha ha ha! (see pics on Flickr) while Haze has been dressing up again to celebrate her new cooker - it's a big hobby with her (cooking, well dressing up as well.

The SV is off the road now, as my UK insurance was up and winter is approaching. It looks like restricting it to 100hp (French law) is gonna be a no-no, so it'll probably be up for sale in the UK in the Spring, while I choose what to have next - shame.

We're actually back in the UK at the moment. We were coming back as the council had managed to flood Hazel's house (don't ask - long story) but then her brother died of a heart attack - at 47 - so we've been doing funeral stuff for a fortnight. All done now, thankfully). We're flying back tommorrow and can't wait. I want to spring Sammy from doggy jail ASAP and we both want the calm and cleanliness of the countryside.

Anyway, bonjour to all of you and the invitation to visit still stands.

Great pics Si glad it's working out. I did here that you can buy restrictor kits over there and the shop will give you a certificate to say it's been fitted if they sell you the kit!

Having spent 6 days in Provence this May I can only say that I am truly envious
