Of course our Scottish brothers will not doubt have it bad till June...

But, try living up t' middle o' t' back' o' beyond like me and QBL!

At nearly 1200ft it's already pretty white out there from t'other day and we're set to get loads more!

It's already nitherin' out there!

Very pretty, but not much good for biking, the car's bad enough when the feckin highways dept forget to grit too!

Was minus 6 degrees here at 7am this mornin, according to the car 'puta, very icy , now we've to get snow tonight/overnight :!:

Heard on the local radio the A&E dept at our local hospital had its busiest day ever yesterday , mostly broken bones from slipping on ice , also the Isle Of Arran ferry has been cancelled for tomorrow am , so its gonna be wild :!: .........if the weathermen get it correct

What do you mean tonight? This place has been frozen solid all week. Mind you, blizzards on their way tonight I hear which should mean a day off work tomorrow. Woohoo :D

Nice picture of the Cat Chris,

Just done a search for a photo of one of our local pubs 'from the archives' but can't find it on web.

Hope I still have the newspaper clipping so I can scan it in.

Think it was originally taken in 1957 - snow up to the 1st floor windows. They'd had to dig a tunnel to get in / out of the pub itself!
