Ffabri D/B Screen

Post by stevieVTR »

I ordered a Ffabri DB screen two weeks ago from Bikestop in Stevenage. It took a week to arrive and they sent out the wrong one (CBR). When they sent the right one last Thursday it wouldn`t fit as the cut out for the sidelight wasn`t deep enough and so the holes wouldn`t line up. Bikestop phoned Motrax who said they`d send another one out. Bikestop received it today only to find that its for an SP1. Has anyone else had problems with Motrax/Ffabri screens because I liked the look of it but now I`ll think about another make.

You may well have seen the very Ffabri DB screen I ordered last Christmas as a present for my CBR. It only fitted where it touched, and was not a good introduction to their product range. I took it back and got a refund.

A pal has a Ffabri screen fitted to his R6 and once again there are large gaps between the screen and fairing where the original was a flush fitting, so I guess this is just standard fitment for that company.
