Dunno as I'm on the right track, but I've just spotted Obama's left handed.
Now I've nothing particularly against left hookers, my daughter's one, but I dunno.

In F1 the call the front left tyre "sinistre" because it's the one most likely to lock up and have you off, apparently.

And another Obama thing.
He had to re-swear the oath of office as he was given the wrong prompt by the Justice.

Now is it just me, or did I remeber that he'd made a couple of promises already, including the one about him and his mates not getting a pay rise for a bit.
But if he re-swore the oath, presumably he wasn't Pres at the time he made those promises, the legal equivalent of being able to say "ah, yes, but I had my fingers crossed behind my back when I said it".

Im a bit of both, ..i write with my right hand ,but throw things etc with my left hand

"Sinistre" is latin for left handed. and i think nothing to do with that F1 bollox.

I am left handed also, and like most left handed people I am also more intelligent than the right handed common folk!!!!

Sorry to disillusion you, but the word for left in Latin is "sinister" and for the right "dexter"

The other connotations cam much later as left handed, or "sinister" people, were viewed with suspicion as they were different
