well my mate passed his test on tuesday this week had a good ride out on wednesday nite up to MFN (local meet) after picking his bike up 03 plate bandit, good starter bike and he's well chuffed with it.

or was untill last nite on his way to mine.....

went to turn left onto a side road, slowed down, indicated, woman crossing the road he was turning into so he stopped.......... BANG..... the car behind him didnt see him and twatted him from behind

he's ok no damage to him, although did tell him to go to the docs today with his bad neck that he'll wake up with , police called and there doin the driver for undue care, bikes a bit of a mess, new exhaust, poss swingarm, wheel and whatever else the garage finds!

nice intro to the world of biking, so lets be carefull out there people, watch out theres muppets about

As you say not the best introduction to biking. I hope it turns out he is OK

well all being sorted, bikes in garage waiting for insurance inspection and he took delivery of a brand new bandit 650 hire bike today so hes not missing the good weather!
