Just out of interest what have you had prior to a Storm ?
i have had gpz250, 750/4, gpz1100 x 2, fj1100, xj900, gpz600r, cb900, zx10, zxr750 and now the storm also about 15 trail bikes along the way as well.

RF600, i still have her and ride her occaisonally, These are the only two bike i have owned as recently new to biking.

Bandit 600 which I had for my first year of biking and now the Storm.

Bandit was a great bike too, totally different kettle of fish of course but great fun...

ive had a honda c90 15years ago. passed test 5 years ago then got a bandit 600, gsxr600 srad then zx9r c1 and now firestorm good fun

GSXF 600, ZX7R, bandit 1200, blade, bandit 1200 again, GSXR 750 srad, ZX9R, TL1000S, Thunderace and now the storm!

Loads of small RD's and a TZR, a PE175 then Bandit 6, Firestorm, 98 Blade then another 09 Blade.

Had loads, but last bike on the road was a NTV 650 Honda.
Same sort of thing in miniature, really, with shaft drive and no fairing to have to repair when I drop it.

Thing is, on the old commute (back roads) I could have it wide open exiting bends- can't do that with the Storm, so have to pay attention a bit more.

But I could get much better MPG!
