No I mean it, they are bloody great. Our DC04 has to suck up about ten gazillion dog hairs every bloomin day and it finally broke a spoked wheel thingy that sits under the canister. Guess how much for a genuine new one from Dysons website?.........no come on guess?......

£2.60 :eek2 how good is that! Its British as well!

Not Hoover, vacuum cleaner.

That's wrong, too, now I come to think about it, a vacuum is by definition empty, so it can't be a dirty vacuum, therefore no vacuum needs cleaning.

Let's call them house suckers to avoid confusion.

(edit- apparently it causes confusion at Curry's, Tesco's and other high street stores, so I'll have to come up with something else.
Suggestions?).

18 ukp for a motor? Disgraceful. I bought a poorly working Dyson for the company showroom for 18ukp and once I connected up the correct hose outlet (someone had been messing with it) it worked fine.
My personal DC04 came from a mate's skip. His Mrs said it wasn't working so he bought her a Henry. I rescued it; cleaned out the filters (he'd had builders in and they used it to suck up the fine plaster dust) it works a treat. He knew I'd sorted it when I went round and cheekily asked if he still had all the atachments left!!!!!! (he did too).
