Yup, just got to beat this one...
an old ZZR600 I got as a barn find just popped straight through on Friday morning last week.
It had been left with petrol in in a barn for over nine years.
I only had to fit replacement brake lines, front calipers, strip and clean the carbs several times, treat the tank internally and completely strip and clean all of the fuel gubbins, including fuel pump.
Oh, a a new pair of Diablos.
So with the cost of the MOT I probably made about fifty quid.
Still, I sold off the hard luggage set it came with for over £200, so not too bad...
