Hi guys,
thought I would let you know I got the bill.You all know that in the end I had to replace the engine after all we tried to work out the problem :confused.Gilson very kindly helped me out with a good deal for his engine(thanks mate :wave: ) and so the work was done. :clap:

I must admit I had to sit down when the bill came.......

hours labour-remove,refit engine --6 hrs
hours labour-check valve clearances,cam wear(visual) --2hrs
fit new cam chain adjusters.general visual check over
hours labour-swap over various parts from old engine --1hrs
hours labour-drill out + remove broken stud.fit timesert
thread repair kit & new stud --3hrs
timesert insert kit --1no.
semi synth oil --1no.
oil filter --1no.
MOT --1no.
Total --£414.78 incl vat. .Hippo. :thumbdown:
anything with wheels or tits is gonna cost ya money.
but who needs money
