Has anybody done this ,had to answer the call of nature (solid version ) after doing what I needed to but before flushing bent over and there goes the mobile flying out of my jacket pocket into the fully loaded toilet . Ok whats my next movement ? do I plunge me hand in or flush 1st and hope the phone is still there

dont know what you can do about the smell, but to get it dry you need to open the phone up and take off any covers and teh battery, then put it in a bowl of rice [dry, not cooked or left over from the local takeaway].
The rice absorbes all the moisture, and the phone should work.
I would then recommend a hands free kit, as I wouldnt put it near my mouth after where it has been!!!!!!!!!!
I guess you could sell it on one of those "money for mobiles" websites and let the next owner worry about the swarm of flys that follow him

Yup, many thanks for the seat, Job almost done now.
First run at a redesign is done, but it will go back to Tony A soon as I want the cover redesigned, but it sure is more comfortable with the gel pads in.

Reminds me of the first time I met my parents in law to be... she's a great cook and was eating loads... sunday morning came and they all went to church allowing me to have a massive dump in piece... it was so comprehensive that the damn thing didn't go down, the water didn't even soak away such was the seal! I was lucky it didn't over flow....
Ummmm, ummm.... down when the open hand and I pushed it around the bend.... job done.... terrible though....
