Dry fuel

Post by ktd001 »

I have just cured my other half's poor starting & running GS500 using Dry Fuel additive (it made a huge difference to the power delivery as well). Does anybody know if it will make any difference to the Storm, or if it will cause any damage? 8O

Hi ktd001
I'm not familiar with Dry Fuel but I've use various additives and octain boosters in the past and never had any trouble. The only thing I would comment on is the bike seems to run better on them but when you stop using them it feels really rough so you want to keep using them all the tiime and that starts to get expensive for the amount proformance increase you get.(Gone are the days of leaded 4 star  )
Before you get stuck into additives try a set of new plugs and having the carbs ballanced.

Thanks Pete

Plugs are new, I just saw the performance difference on my lady's bike and got jealous! I might give it a go and let you know what happens.
