Hi All

Thought I would say hello as a new member to this forum.

I have a 2000 Firestorm in blue that I've had for about a year now and absolutely love it. I've done a little bit of work with a full comfort kit, Remus pipes and a lot of cleaning... I still have a little way to go but have just colour coded the belly pan and am looking forward to getting out when the weather finally decides it's not going to snow (which it is as I write this).

I like your forum, lots of very interesting threads.

May see some of you around as this summer progresses.

Hi All

I'll maybe not ware my leathers that day, jim may get the wrong impression.

I'm going to try and get to a few more bike nights this year and a few track days so yes i'm sure our paths will cross, maybe even at the woods.

Thanks for the welcome guys

I have the ABM conversion http://www.streetfighterstore.com/comfort_kit/197 Hope the link works, with ultra low renthals and narrow crosser bar ends. The kits very expensive but I can ride all day without wrist ache or my hands going numb. Worth every penny in my book.

looked at that kit for mine but didnt fancy chopping the fairing to get full lock...
a m8 has fitted it to his after a back op and says it's great..
was toying with the idea of fitting some vfr bars but not sure which ones go on...
pity the ones off my cbx750 wont fit but theyre 39mm instead of 41 :(

I had to trim the faring but did it without losing any length, it's just narrower at the top. I can't seem to post pictures or I'd show you what I've done. It took about an hour with a Dremmel. unless you stand it by another VTR you would think it's supposed to be like that.

The extra comfort is well worth the effort.

Simon

Will do Jim....It's very tempting to say see you at Willy Woods but that will only start them all off again.....
