As much as I'd love to FSM, its 325 miles (3 fuel stops inc. initial fill up) just to get to Hawes from Portsmouth.

That A684 looks like a fun road too

Where is the A684? I am meant to be on a run out across the NE but if weather is looking iffy, I can be persuaded to go a bit more local and I've yet to visit Devils Bridge. Mate of mine is going there tomorrow,weather permitting! Shame I can't make the 'Vic Do' in July as I booked the first week in July off a while ago and I doubt I'd be able to swap it now! But anyone riding out on May BH beg of May, gimme a shout as I'm off all weekend up until the Wed from the Sat............

always had a morbid interest in sheep since someone commented they have no gag reflex....
