Hello
I'm Strappy, I live in Scotland but I'm English, moved up here about 5 years ago and haven't left yet. I've just collected a white 2003 SP-2, looking forward to getting out and about once the Bank Holiday weekend ends and I can get my paws on a tax disk.
The bike's completely standard so I'll be making it my own over the months, no doubt picking experienced brains on what's best and boring everyone with every detail of the changes I make ;)
Trust I'll see a few of you out on track sometime, I'll be the fat bloke crapping himself on the race-based bike with inch-wide chicken strips.
Cheers

Welcome in Strappy! Don't be put off - its just that Stormers don't quite know what to make of SP owners. We assume you're a bit unhinged, but you all seem very happy, despite the piles. Enjoy the forum!

Erm, this bloke in the pub told me about the place, name was John or possibly Dave, I've brought a bottle and I promise not to fart. Much.
Alright Zak

Thanks for the welcome. I once rode an RR6 Fireblade to Croatia and back, 4,000 miles in two weeks, so numb elbow is something I'm familiar with. Must just be a glutton for punishment.

Listen fella, once you meet our resident giant, Timbo, (especially after he has been on one of his 2-pints-of-Guinness-casseroles) farting is something that you will rapidly become accustomed to
Actually, I think that he sharted a couple of times (were the boots full when you got home yesterday Tim????)

Welcome to the forum Strappy, nice bike.
Dont listen to Zakalwe, i was in complete control the whole time

and had waterproofs on under my leathers just in case
p.s. Finished the casserole off last night, today is going to be an interesting day

I assume that by "interesting" you mean that you are going to spend the day playing the loose-bowel equivalent of Russian Roulette? Pondering if you should go an sit on the bogs every time you want to fart, just in case?

Well, you can't play the CCT version- that's just for un-manualed Stormers!
Welcome anyway
