Hello all
Just browsing for my new firestorm and I came across this in Huddersfield dealer DC M/cycles.
At 3k it seems pricey but it seems they only made 50 of em. I wonder if anything else was special about them besides bodywork. Looks a bit tatty this one to me but I thought you might like to see it

BTW, I am selling my Hornet tonight, so I'll have cash burning a hole in my kitchen. The search begins!

Buckers,
there should be more than just a paint job on the limited edition 5oth aniv Storm. see thos link from one of the other members who bought one

the good shock & pipes are worth some extra, but is it £3k? need to see the condition and what else the dealer will offer

tbh id have a look on mcn bikemart and see whats going.
someone was selling one here this week with 4k miles for 2 grand.
you will want to pimp it anyway before too long, no point getting the aniv edition unless you intend to keep it standard.

Nah, you can sell the Anny plaque and other "special" bits on E-Bay for someone to stick on their Cat-C and bump the price up.

I have got number 26 of the anniversary storm, i replaced another storm with it.
What you get as standard....
Ohlins steering damper
Proflex rear shock
Carbon Hugger
number boards on the back (over the seat cowl)
Gold writing
Carbon Yoke cover with the number on
Harris Rear Sets
Remus Grand Prix oval cans
I have had the springs done in the front forks, added a undertray, led indicators, remus carbon cans/Micron stubbys (depending on my mood), bellypan and a new screen.
I feel I am qualified to compare the 2, whereas I enjoyed my old storm, this one is far far more planted in the bends. I often get people coming up and asking me about it, and my mate has an anniversary blade so we are quite a good match out and about!
I didnt pay £3k for it, but if you were to add the extras onto a standard storm, the price would be close to it!
