Hi Geoff

Hope you had fun.I went home from Hartside today after cops were in the bloody car park of Hartside clocking folk for their plates!! :eek2 I made a hasty retreat whilst he had some poor sod in the back of the car! :wtf: After getting back to the A75the cops were out in force and had camera vans strategically placed for max effect to oncoming bikes TW@TS...Must have seen hundreds of bikes this week on my way to work as they were all headed over for the ferry..Saw something close to 200 bikes in the Shell garage on the Collin bypass today 8O . I have tried to look on the tv for it but mate said it is on freeview, but I watch Sky. Anyone know of any sky channels it might be on?

Please you and Ed had a good time  ! I am sorely tempted to go next yr.Did you both stay over?

ABB

[quote="FirestormMike"]I was up hartside at 5pm, not a single plod in sight. Well it was about 1pmish when we were there and I couldn't believe it!
Came up from Penrith side, and back through Durham dales. I know that route well, and that road back down from Alston past Killhope Mill is a cracking road. Roll on July when I move back home! I did my Bikewise training with the Durham cops and know those roads well as it takes you back down to Barney Castle. Nice 1 FM.

They must have had their quota for the day. Hope they don't make that a regular feature :eek2 :eek2 !!
