hi all.
back on line with pc again.

bike going ok,so think was knacked battery last time.just need carbs balanced @ some point.

to the quetion.i won a helmet off ebay on friday.it was a o'neal honalulu.my shoei visor broke so borrowed my mates oneal till got another.liked the oneal so thought id buy one.his was a large but a wee bit to big,so thought a medium would do.

got helmet i won today & just managed to get it on but very tight & small.now the helmet was advertised as a MEDIUM.no way was it a medium & it has a S inside.my mates has a L inside & his is a large.

so can we say that the S stands for SMALL & L stands for LARGE.if it was a M it would be MEDIUM.

the guy is saying he bought it as a medium his partner is a medium & fits her & the S inside stands for STANDARD as in STANDARD HELMET.

anyone with an oneal helmet that knows if letters inside stand for the size.

think guy going to be trouble on this.not my fault if he listed wrong size on & he bought as a medium.

any advise & good to be back on line.

ps was speeking to a yellow stormer in dundee 2 satudays ago, just bought it.

if the helmet is tight get your hair cut
or fasten it up good and tight and run into walls to shrink the padding a bit - works for me

or just take your turban off

just noticed that there as another tag inside tucked under the linning saying m for medium, lol.

was just the s was in same place as l on my m8s.

cant believe the difference between a medium & large.large a bit big & medium way to small.

his was a oneal havoc & mine is oneal honalulu.would the different styles have different sizes.

steve.

hi benny h.nothing to cut its to the bone, lol.

I've found all different styles of helmet (talking brands) fit differently.

Best thing I found was to get my bonce measured properly and try all differnt types. I'm typically a Large (60-62cm) but varying manufacturers do have different fits.

I never go on what size it says in the helmet-well, only use that as a pointer-but more so on a correct fit
