has any one else?

gives very little detail and demands 300+ for downloading a ministry of sound album

the haven't had a pc or laptop for a year and a half, which is before the album in question was released!

not seen this scam before, but it sounds very credible so will no doubt work on may people who dont have such a clear cut alibi.

As on old punk, I would also have to say that it serves you right for having such poor taste in music

Genuine or otherwise, it's a scam.

Wading through the legalese its a bit like, "You have a Firestorm that is capable of speeds in excess of many of the limits imposed in the UK. As we have no proof that you have ever exceeded such limits but know you are capable, why not just pay the fine as if we had and/or that you are guilty anyway."

Aye, right.

Better still, send a spoof return informing them that they are being investigated for breach of copyright (the GM logo)

Ask them to pop by and collect it in person, as you don't like sending cash in the post.
