If its not enough that my mate teaches at the Ron Haslam race school on the Elite course so gets to ride round Silverstone on a 2010 Blade. But he has also started working for Honda UK to help with the “ride out” demo days they do at MCN events and Honda dealers. So he was supposed to be escorting the public round local roads on various Hondas.

So he sends me this picture of what he got a ride on……….Jammy git!



I had to point out that wearing the Honda fleece over race leathers with a hump makes him look deformed with no neck............not that I am jealous

Managed to stop him smiling and talking about getting a 2nd morgage long enough to tell me what he thought...........He managed to take it for a 35mile run as the owner followed on the demo VFR1200..........now that is trust, Owner didnt even get upset when he got left behind as the Duke was being given full throttle in 3rd and then disappered.

basic summary is MotoGP990 with lights on, power, acceleration, feel, noise, brakes, build quality, carbon fibre, on a new planet compared to the Blade....... wibble wibble, I want one etc etc

£44k..........and the honda demo team were happy to cover the insurance.....

Grantham Honda have one they want rid of. 34K I believe.
