No fortunately, my Ducati has never tossed me off
The front end of that bike was held on by a single brake hose. Poor feker riding it went to hospital with chest injuries, after ending up the other side of the Armco

No mate, I'm not a climber.
It does interest me though-only done hill walking-I'd not be much cop as a climber
Where abouts is it? Looks spectacular

It's in the French Alps on the N.Face of the Grande Jorasse. A direct line up 'The Shroud'. First Brit ascent (I think, although this was never confirmed)
No doubt one of these Johnny Foreigner French extreme skiiers will carve their way down it one of these days
