off the road....

well, thinking long & hard, decisions decisions, still got bits of crash damage, some rough running...
winter fast approaching...new tyres, brakes, respray, powder coating, fuelling work & dyno time needed for the storm...
another bike sat in the garage doing crouton all... just needs a set of tyres..
so what do i do, do i buy new tyres for the storm and hardly ride it, or do i re-shoe the cbx and get it out of hibernation
decided it makes more sense economically to buy new tyres for the 750, as its mot is due in november anyway...
and seeing as i'm spending 5-600 a mth on fuel for the storm, should be plenty of £ for the changes i want to make while it's in bits, je pistons for one
and finally get round to fitting the rear spring and bigger vac valves...
i think next weekend will probably be bedtime for stormy - don't want to expose it to a harsh winter, that's what the other one is for with its heavy steel frame & comfy seat, heated grips, wet tyres...
spent the morning clearing the garage and making room for the change of ride, will need room to strip the vtr down to the bone for powder coating (free!!!)
i reckon it'll be off the road for 5-6mths, til spring, then unveilling with a sponning new paintjob and hopefully faultless mechanics & fuelling lol!
it'll be good to ride the old girl again, but jeez it's slow lol & heavy!
