I am arrived!

Post by pinkyfloyd »

There once was a bloke they called pink
Who wanted to go like stink
So instead of a car
He bought a VTR
But was still sh1t at poetry dont you think?

That about sums it up tho and if you think thats bad....... You wait until I get my feet under the mat!

Until today I rode around on a borrowed 1991 GSXR750, (I have nice mates) and today I picked up a 99 firestorm. The ride home was something else. 70 miles and for the most part national speed limit so I had plenty of time to find out about the bike on a cruise. The odd roundabout thrown in for good measure let me test the cornering etc, and the general impression I found was the beast was confidence inspiring and I could sling it around more than I could the GSXR.

Not bad for a second big bike and I only passed my DAS course in june. :D
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

cz125 lol, you brave basterd! fred dibnah's steam engine handles better!
good luck with the storm & check out the workshop section, make sure it's had all the necessary mods done

and your poetry isnt that sh1t
ive heard much worse than it
though i think you will find
if you just speak your mind,
you'll probably end up like seb :Beer Popcorn:
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

I was young and stupid and I got it for buttons to learn on, Was never road legal and hammered around a field. It ended up in a skip and lugging the bugger in was a nightmare. I've hefted cars that were lighter!

From what I can tell the storm is completly standard. It hasnt had the CCT's done yet but has under 28K miles on it. Got the service history and has had major engine services and she does sound as sweet as a nut..... When I say sweet I mean LOUD! . Totally different sound than the GSXR.
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

Cinderella's bike still playing up, then?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
