Both looking good bikes, and some serious mods even on the road bike.

Whats the spec on both?

OK..another couple of piccies of my beloved VTR.
this one i brought off ebay ?? bit of a risk ! but turned out one of the best buys i ever made
its a 50th but its been truly touched by roger at revolution its got all the moriwaki bits right down to the carbs
its got penske rear shock , metmachex swing arm, dymags front and rear AP brakes front and rear , forks are blade but re-worked by maxton ,
its got moriwaki fork yolks and bars ,ohlins damper , moriwaki rear setts and a corbin seat the list is almost endless..
and its putting out 128bhp
I LOVE IT and it gets love where ever i take it

As for the track bike ,
i brought this off a guy not long ago, its an ex-british super bike ( stage 2 )from 1998 .sponsored at the time by club 18-30.
its got spondon bits all over and makes the red one look like a sinclaire C5, its putting out 150 + bhp
im assured that this is the last complete bike from that season , one of only six bikes built ( unless someone knows different).
former rider was mark ditchfield / son of roger .( revolutionuk )
its got more exotic bits on it than you can shake a stick at , and im a lucky b*stard

the only other bike ive got is my standard vtr from 1999 red cos thats the fast colour !!/ but i think pink and yellow is the fastest,
that is unless that holiest of holy grail the stage 3 is up and running now MR GILSON.

So you have 3 VTR's ranging from stock to stage2 moriwaki, with a stage 1 blinged up one for the middle ground? , you are indeed a big fan of all things VTR

BUT how do you decide which one to ride?

Not that I am jeleaous.............but If you were to also tell me that you are married to a nymphomaniac supermodel who is also a great cook and she lets you keep the bikes in the living room, I would only hate you 10% more

Always remember you may wish for a nymphomaniac, but when you marry them the nympho rapidly exits and you are left with the maniac

ref missus : all of the above except for the front room ,though she let me build myself a lovely garage ,but does tend to remind me it cost more than the bespoke kitchen and the two bedroom with ensuites extension ??

ref the track bike: you can hear it running , the previous owner put it on youtube , just look under moriwaki vtr and up she pops.
ref weather and salt : i have to be honest and say ... im a fair weather biker , not one of those everyday all weather nutters ( spotted a bike out this morning snow everywhere, new he wouldnt make the roundabout BRAVE THOUGH !
i do use them as much as i can , im definately off to LEMANS next year with my track bike with focused events and hope to do quite a few more with them over here ,would be nice to meet some of you guys at such events already met jonesy jones and i keep threatening to get together with mr gilson, one day !

nice one yeti, if you plan on coming up to oulton park let me know - im up there most weekends riding or with chums off tdr & nwb.
will be doing a lot more this coming year, mainly oulton, aintree, cadwell, 3 sisters & anglesey... would love to hear the moriwaki in action

will try to get to those tracks !
normally stick to brands, silverstone and donnington , but i must broaden my horizons and have a go at some others .
im not very fast even with all that extra hp.. 6,10" and 19 1/2 st (before christmas ) and im 2 up already but i love it all the same .
probably ride a bit gingerly on the ex-racer anyway, firestorm history and all that i would hate to crash it saying that i had a near death experiance the first time out on it, the throttle stuck full on!! , on my sighting lap !!!, just five corners in to the new layout at silverstone i lived to tell the tale .JUST !!
as soon as some decent dates are advised i will give you a shout. would be nice to say hi
