Mountain; Nantucket Sleighride?

Those of us old enough to remember might know that part of that instrumental in the centre piece was used for a documentary programme's opening sequence. "World in Action" I think IIRC.

Five albums? Hmmm. Well Physical Graffitti (Led Zeppelin) would be in mine plus Mott the Hooples greatest hits and, well, I'm having trouble cutting down the list!!!!!

Hows about that then rock fans.....in at number 5..

5.Stadium Arcadium. The Red Hot Chilli Peppers

4.Heavy Cream. Cream

3.Wired Scenes Inside the Gold Mine. The Doors

2. Jahovakill. Julian Cope.

& at number one, the one & only Mr James Marshall Hendrix with his sonic masterwork of Fender feedback.......

1. Electric Ladyland

Lets Rock!

Ok so theres abit of cheating going on as all are double albums & 4 & 5 are both compilations & I will have to convert from vinyl, still i've got time to do that before the M in L strikes as I'd have to get married first.

and manilow, and boney m... :Rock1:
my tastes are way too varied to pick a handfull of tunes... just now got yellowman on doing zunguzungugzunguzeng... oh just gone off, doing rambo now..
....seeing as what i'd be growing lol :Smoke2:
junior murvin & dillinger doing roots train atm... ace tune.
used it on one of my old vids.
:shh:

tbh if i was stranded on a desert island i'd sooner just have peace & quiet than listen to the same 5 tracks over & over lol.
& i don't think there's anywhere left on this planet that's uninhabited!

re dio.... yes i know he passed away sadly, but after seeing him with sabbath and witnessing his diva tantrums...
just my opinion.

sorry boys, there is just too much rock in that lot! :D

If I had to choose 5 it would be tough, and I kind of agree with Benny [which is not a good thing  ] that if I listened to them over and over I would end up hating them! I need variety ........so this is the list I would start with, but it may change by tomorrow when I remember some other great artists that I have forgotten about today.

The Jam - Setting sons
Dropkick Murphys - Blackout
Clash - Clash
Glasvegas - Glasvegas
Pixies - Surfer Rosa

And that was tough to cut it down to 5. I will be back tomorrow with my next 5

Yes tony, I spotted that little gem in your mix

They are still touring so I am trying to see if I can get to see them on friday 10th in Leamington Assembly

http://www.leamingtonassembly.com/events.aspx

Benny, you will see that the Bay City Rollers are also touring, might have to go along to that to represent tartan wearers stuck in England...............Assume it will be full of mid 40's women reliving their teenage crushes........can think of worse places to get trapped!
