why do you need a new spring? :|
firestorm springs are excellent. last for ever they do, very bouncy & springy.
well the ones in the forks are.
the ones in the rear are made of granite and the ones in the tensioners are made of bone china.

Hullo Andy and welcome

Never mind Benny thinking yer waiting for A spring.
He's otherwise quite correct: the clutch springs are made of hough and the original brake disks made of Jersey Bars.

Welcome Andy, Dumfries is close to my old home of Corsock, so I know you have good Firestorm roads up there

Enjoy the bike when the weather sorts it self out, and do fix the springs in the Cam Chain Tensioners [CCT] they are sh1t and when they fail they will wreck the valves. Have a good look in the workshop section

Hi, welcome; but get it out of the garage and ride the thing

You learn more control from riding on slippery stuff than you do on hot grippy days, that's why US ex-dirt track riders do so well at MotoGP.

And the old bill are less worried when they see you getting it sideways when they can see it's slippery.
