I'm with 'em. Won't be next year. Always feel like they've duped me. I've had a lot better.

I also had a bad experience with them. Did online quote full comp then got a phone call saying we can do better than that and knocked £10 off, great till the certificate came and it was only third party. I said I didn't want third party I want full comp. They said Oh that company won't do full comp you will have to cancel and take out a new policy this would have cost me as much as the original cover. Then to top it all their computor kept calling my mobile 5 times a day and hanging up when I answered it. There is a whole website devoted to their computor phone calls. NEVER AGAIN.

Most conversations are recorded for training and reference purposes ( so they always inform you when you call any one today ) so I would write and ask for a copy under the feedom of inforamtion act of the transcript from the day you spoke to them regarding your insurance request . By law they have to send you a copy with in 20 days of the request if requested. Also try and find out who you spoke with on the day in question. As always now a days, ask for there name and write it down with the time and date . I do this with every one I speak to over the phone, this country has come to provening your guilty before your innocent.

Very good advice is that IMHO, I do exactly the same myself.

What amazes me is they expect to have your full name, but when you ask for theirs they nearly always only give their first name, I end up having to prise their surname out of them, but I do make sure I get it.

Chris.

Yep, worth keeping a note of the name and ext number of the person you speak to, and if you note the time/date you called them they will be able to locate the recording of the call.

I love getting them to match a made-up quote; once you've got away with it once then you can play the quote-beating game every year from then on.
I get free business use and European breakdown included in mine now.

And why give them your mobile number?
Just make one up if they insist, or change it by a digit or two.
You might want to call them, but I can't think of a reason that I'd want them to call me.
They can always write.

i would email the FSA to see what they say they are pretty good and will usually tell you straight what to say to them and what to do from there on.

Well it seems i'm not the only one who feels as though i was conned by these people. They did a similar thing to me 2 years ago and i swore i would never use them again and i wont. It seems to be a habit of thiers to tell you one thing then do just as they please. So hopefuuly people will now see them for what they are. It's just a shame we have to find out the hard way. Merry christmas to everyone. Den
