Thanks Chris. The look even better in the flesh. Just around the corner they had their current range which in comparison looked cheap but I hear are really good.
The deal breaker for me is the longevity. No one mentioned that and I failed to ask.

the side tread doesnt look very deep tho???
for that price id rather 'stick with supercorsas'

I think in reality its gonna be about £170 including fitting but the manufacturers are not allowed to dictate prices and fitting varies depending on where you go. Once the market is saturated with them, you'll probably see them for £150 I reckon. Not bad for a Sports Touring tyre.
I'm still not sure about longevity. How are people finding the other maxxis tyres as far as life is concerned?
Benny, Isn't the supercorsa an out and out sports tyre?

matter of opinion tbh... theyre a triple compound so last ell, ive done over 3k on mine and i got them as race scrubs for 70 notes so id say thats pretty damn good value... easy 1k left as well.
so for fair weather sports touring for me theyre a winner.
plus they fling bricks up off the rear and stop drivers getting too close lol
not a wet weather tyre tho.
i was impressed with the maxxis m6029 for a budget tyre, but found when the rear wore it was shocking in the wet and was as dear to replace as any other (better) brand.
time will tell i spose
