Greetings from Lancashire :-D

Post by Enzo_Skyline »

G`day everyone, allow me to introduce myself,I`m Phil and have just bought my 1st Vtr yesterday(29/01/2011).
I believe it once belonged to another member on here,he goes by the name of warbie???? It`s a 98 fw model with a iridium screen, laser carbon cans,k&n filter and dynojet kit fitted.
The guy also changed the footrest/exhaust hangar brackets and made some really nice round tubed stainless ones.

Does this ring any bell`s to anyone on here?

hya chap - yes warby is a top chap on here and the bikes history is all there if you look around.
a well looked after machine it is too, i'm sure it will serve you well, all the fiddly bits have already been done so you should have a nice reliable sorted ride there

whereabouts in lancs are you?
im in warrington just down the road (long road like!) probs tie up for a few rides when it gets a bit warmer, not much fun over a hr or 2 atm :Beer Popcorn:

Hi Benny, cheers for the warm welcome and i`m glad my jedi skills didn`t go haywire!!lol i thought it was a good bike when i saw the advert  I`m near junction 27 on the M6,just outside Leyland if you know it? :confused

Does warby still come on here then? When i bought the bike it`s been data tagged and has a immobiliser but i have no paperwork for them to see if it`ll lower my insurance :(

yeh he pmd me yesterday so is still a regular spammer!

not that far away... some good roads up your way.
there will be a few meets later in the year but if you are looking for regular outings have a look HERE always something going on, plenty of meets, rides out & trackdays etc - more of a local community site than model specific

have a good browse around here m8, you will find loads of info on the bike, links to a free manual in the workshop bit etc

re insurance - i'm with ebike cos im trying to rebuild my ncb after losing it all a few years ago for a theft claim... but have a go on tesco bike insurance comparison thingy for the best quotes...
ive got 3 bikes on my policy and it costs me 82 a year
the storm on its own was 72
