I am at 10yrs, but I know a few others on here beat me last time we did this type of thread.

I did think it was funny that he had the bike 13yrs and only just found the Forum..........I think this points to him being in his late 40s / early 50s and has not been caught up in this virtual life of computer culture

I think that takes more dedication than keeping the same one for 13 yrs, so you are now in the lead

I can't quite compete with 13yrs of ownership  I've owned mine for just over 11yrs.

had mine for 3 years now, after having a break from riding and having a BMW K75s to get me back in the saddle.

If I was going to chop my bike in, I think it would be for an SP.

My `Storm gets tinkered with no end, and it's the first bike that I have owned that I can spend money on to make it better, they have always been work horses.

Sorry chaps,
bought mine in March 1997, from Bill Head in Preston traded in a Blade. (so its 14 years in 2 weeks)Will probably never sell it as I have spent so much on it and could never recoup the money, also I love it dearly and its the only new bike I have ever owned.Only done 8k miles. some years it was kept under wraps whilst using other stuff but intend to use it as primary bike from now on.
Am I now winning ?? Phil

I bought mine a few months ago and love it. I do intend to keep it for as long as it still works. Hopefully in 10 years I'll still be riding around on my Storm.
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

11 years and 6k to 50k on my '97. Longest time off the road was two months after CCT implosion.

Nice picture, I can just see my bike, tonys and keiths black one.

You coming to the Wales trip, or the maintenance day in march, would be good to ride up with another from the Essex clan.
