Best suggestion would be a cruiser style 125. May be fugly but they have a shorter seat height.

Our lass is 5'2" and has similar problems. She's cutting about on a Hyosung Cruise 2 that we got for £600 with only 2400 km on the clocks. It's that low that it feels like you're sitting in a hole Made of cheese but plenty good enough to get you from beginner to test and still get your money back when you flog it. Not brilliant to ride but then, you get what you pay for and all that. I actually quite like it. It's a lot of fun nipping about locally on it and it's much better quality than all the other Chinese/Korean knock offs. All the engine parts are replaceable with Suzuki ones too (can't remember which model though).

when i passed my test you had to pass it on a geared bike so i did mine on a yamaha t80 step though / honda dog type
its a bit of a cheat really as it has no clutch but gears . but that was in 1996 so i dont know if the laws have changed .
the t80 and a c90 both have low seat hights ideal for the virtually challenged and easy to ride

a decent cbt place would have had some 50cc step through's which is all you need to pass your cbt then got out and buy a bike to suit.

Turns out afterwards that they did!! which was part of the gripe with them.

demand a refund then or contact Department of transport and report them, they are there to teach you and obviously have failed to do so, my mates a m/c trainer and he said in the whole time cbt's have been about he's never failed anyone.

Scooter for the cbt and then DAS followed by something like a 535 virago. I actually dont know how the test works any more so all of that could just be utter baldrocks.

Thats a load of bull timbo, my missus is the same height and she passed her cb test on a 125 then went on to pass her full motorbike test on a kawasaki 500.
If I was you I would find another instructor , if they are ok with it. Tell the other people you want yh money back or yh gonna put them in court.

Mine's just a little '07' plate 90cc honda dax clone which i got off ebay for £450 with just 200miles on the clock, with a bigger front sprocket, new air filter, cdi and exhaust it'll sit at 50mph happily and will touch 60 with a push. The braced swingarm has proper roller bearings as the std rubber ones were awful and being longer it's far more stable too. Now it's got the decent rubber on it i can even scrape the pegs

It'll do about 120mpg and i've put more miles on this than the storm in the last year!!

Good luck with your quest mate, the Triumph bonnies can be made to fit once she is over the first hurdle I reckon Hysuong jobbies would do the job to get her through the test.

PS is she coming to Scotland with us?

Hagon will make you a custom shock which will lower the back of most bikes without losing the range of suspension.

She'll be more likely to persevere and enjoy something she actually likes and wants.
