evening all, new firestorm owner

evening all,
just purchased a firestorm, and as with past toys i always find it good to jump on board the forums!
looking forward to stretching its legs this weekend.

oh yeah, im from surrey, and this is an addition to my other toys, tl1000r streetfighter, 883 sportster,rgv/rs250 special.

haha, thats why i streetfightered my tl, much lighter and nimbler now.
idealli i would have like an sp1 or 2, but my pockets ar not that deep at the mo! very much looking forward to riding this in anger though!

whats the best mods for these beasts?

Mods = CCT's, Reg Rect in the main. Other notables are the fork springs and I recommend checking the rear sus linkages (dry out). Check the KB for others, plenty of info available.

As T/P says, CCT's and rectifier (if your bike has the earlier non-finned type rectifier) and the knowledge Base in the Workshop Section covers most things for the Firestorm.

got to finally ride it in anger this weekend.....
im impressed with the handling, but i did find it abit guttless. sorry if im offending anyone here.
also its an import,although im not sure where from. were there any restrictions on the imported models?

They're a bit deceptive, ride out with a few mates on different bikes and you may find that you're going quickly, but due to the lower-revving engine it doesn't feel like it.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
