Can you imagine it with a tank bag????????

Suppose it makes sense in a country with big gaps between fuel stops.

quote

" To change tank the process is
Undo to bolts at front. Turn fuel tap off, remove 5 pipes and plug for sensor.
Do the reverse to put tank back on. All up takes about 15-20min "

 i think it would take a bit longer than that if you don't take the seat off first and remove the m6 bolt from the rear mount :Beer Popcorn:

FSM,
That carbon tank on the silver bike is very well done, it is only in comparison to the red bike that you notice it. Who made it? was it a one off or was there a batch done?

me too, with a sizeable ding in the side lol.
i was going to repair it and put it on fleabay but i might have a go at pumping it up with my compressor, see what difference it makes.
done it before (by accident) on my super x1 ped and it looked ace but it was hard to fit as it had rubbers in the centre that clip onto the frame,
seeing as the storm tank fits front & rear, that shouldnt be a problem.
another one of theose one day jobs.
only problem is i sold the fuel sensor & tap and had to drill the fuel cap out of the new one so i dont have spares to block the holes up with.... (thinks)

the 26L tank pictured looks kind of funny, this one looks like it might be less noticable.... looks like it takes some experience fab skill to pull off though.
